About the Artist
Soulhill, born Souheil Aka in Tlemcen, Algeria, is a Soul-Funk and R&B artist whose music blends the timeless spirit of classic soul with contemporary grooves. As a founding member of the Funk Fathers Band, he spent years cultivating a sound inspired by the golden eras of Soul, Funk, and Disco, while developing a distinctive artistic identity of his own.
His breakthrough came with the release of Love Thing in 2018 through SO FINE RECORDS UK, earning recognition from international soul audiences and leading to collaborations with artists and producers across Brazil, the United Kingdom, and the United States..
After overcoming significant health challenges, Soulhill returned to music with renewed passion and creative vision. Now based in France, he continues to craft sophisticated, heartfelt music that blends Soul, R&B, Funk, and New Jack Swing influences. With his upcoming album Microwave Love, Soulhill reaffirms his commitment to authentic musicianship, timeless songwriting, and emotionally powerful performances — bridging the legacy of classic soul with a fresh, modern sound.
